Tumbleweeds week-long afternoon art class

10:00-2:00 / $625 for the week
Tumbleweeds summer classes are meticulously designed to delve into a myriad of creative and educational art concepts.
Our mission is to assist your child in honing their unique artistic style, fostering critical thinking and observational skills, delving into diverse mediums, techniques, and artists, and, of course, encouraging uninhibited self-expression.
With small class sizes, we ensure ample individualized attention in a nurturing and inclusive environment, where young artists can thrive and find inspiration.

Example of our daily schedule:
Each day of the program is structured to balance skill-building, creativity, and exploration. Throughout the week, students will work on 4 guided projects while developing.
Morning Welcome & Creative Warm-Up
Students ease into the day with light drawing exercises to spark creativity and build confidence.
Artist & Technique Exploration
Introduction to artists, styles, and mediums that will inspire the day’s work. We’ll look at visual examples and discuss key ideas.Project Work Session
Students begin or continue one of the week’s guided projects, focusing on developing skills, experimenting with materials, and strengthening their artistic voice.Final Project Development
Time dedicated to brainstorming, sketching, and planning a more personal final piece, encouraging independent thinking and creative decision-making.Lunch Break
Afternoon Studio Time
Students continue working on their projects or final piece, with individualized guidance and support.Open Studio / Free Art Time
An opportunity for creative freedom where students can explore materials, revisit ideas, or create something entirely their own.Group Reflection & Share
