At Tumbleweeds Art Group, lessons are rooted in a consistent studio practice where students build skills over time while developing their own creative voice through exploration, experimentation, and guided instruction.

Designed for children and teens, our lessons nurture artistic interests, techniques, and confidence through personalized one-on-one and small group instruction. Students work across a wide range of mediums—including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, sewing, embroidery, and fashion design—while projects are tailored to their individual interests and developmental stage. For students preparing portfolios, we offer more focused guidance to support the development of cohesive, intentional bodies of work.

Details

  • Lessons are scheduled by semester: Fall/Winter, Winter/Spring, and Summer

  • All materials are provided

  • Evening availability during the school year: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting at or after 6:00 PM; Mondays starting at 3:30 PM

  • During the school year, students enroll for one consistent day per week

  • Summer scheduling is flexible, with the option to attend multiple sessions per week

  • All ages welcome

  • Small group setting for individualized attention

  • Customized curriculum for each student

  • Support for both creative exploration and skill-building

Rates

1 Hour Sessions

  • Private (1 student): $100

  • Semi-private (2–4 students): $75 per student

1.5 Hour Sessions

  • Private (1 student): $150

  • Semi-private (2–4 students): $110 per student

All Winter/Spring 2026 classes will run every week except on holidays/school closures:

Tuesdays: 16 weeks - February 3rd - June 16th // * No class on Feb 17th, March 24th, March 31st & April 7th

Wednesdays: 15 weeks -February 4th - June 17th // * No class on Feb 18th, March 25th, April 1st, April 8th & May 27th

Thursdays: 15 weeks - February 5th - June 18th // * No class on Feb 19th, March 19th, March 26th, April 2nd & April 9th

All Fall/Winter 2026–2027 after-school classes will run weekly except on holidays and school closures:
