I highly recommend the Tumbleweeds Art Group to any parent looking for a fun, creative, inspiring after school program for their children.  My 6 year daughter absolutely loves Hayley and talks constantly about her class, her interesting projects and her art group friends!  Her teachers at school sited this class as having helped build her confidence and focus in the class room - leading to a vast improvement in her school work.  Hayley is a phenomenal teacher.  The students not only create amazing art work but are also provided with the beginnings of an appreciation of artists and their varied techniques.  A really wonderful class.

The Tumbleweeds Art Group is simply amazing.  Incredibly well organized, Hayley has not only taught our daughter about different art forms and movements but given her a complete appreciation and love for creativity.  And the work that the kids produce is completely incredible.  We have many of our daughters pieces hanging on our walls.   Hayley is not only a great teacher, but she is so loving and caring towards the kids.   I can't recommend Hayley and the Tumbleweeds program enough.

Being a part of the Tumbleweeds Art Group has been a magical experience for our daughter. She looks forward to it each week. The kids are exposed to both classical and modern artists and have the chance to work on phenomenal projects. Hayley has a gift for inspiring the little artist inside each of her students.

My son looks forward to Hayley's art group all week long, truly the highlight of his week. Her energy and enthusiasm make it such a wonderfully rich experience. She takes the up most care with each child to make sure that all their little needs are met, that they make amazing projects and that they have a wonderful time.

The level of the art projects she does with the kids has blown us away. They are far superior to anything we have seen or experienced in any other programs. She spends so much time planning and gathering materials before the group, I really don't know how she does it. Some of our favorite projects they did were inspired by Picasso, Louise Nevelson and Matisse. She teaches them about the artists as well as the process. On all levels it is a very special program.

Hayley is truly a gem! We feel so lucky to have her art group available to us!

Hayley Youngs has been leading an art group for my son and several other children this past academic year. I have found her work with them to be very child centered and exploratory, always reaching in to find the children's interest in order to fully engage them in projects. She is a creative thinker and thinks out of the box, always looking for new and creative ideas to try and adapt to their learning styles.

What I especially like about her work is that she is often checking in with families and has excellent communication skills, in order to better serve the needs of the children. She wants to understand each child wholly in order to give them the support they need, as well as build confidence in areas they may struggle with. She has always been very open to suggestions from myself as well as other parents and will add to her curriculum in order to provide meaningful projects to the children, that can add to their experience as artists and learners.

I want to be in the art group for the rest of my life.
